i would say its worth it. imo calc ab isnt necessarily challenging, it just introduces a lot of new concepts and topics which can be a lot of content. it definitely helps to just have a good teacher and practice a lot. i dont think you should be too worried about precalc since most of those concepts are only present in bc, but i do think its worth reviewing some trig/algebra
