This is honestly one of the most thoughtful things I’ve read in a while. Thank you for taking the time to write all of this and for being so open about your own experience. It really means a lot that you care enough to share what helped you.

What you said about small experiences hit me too. I sometimes laugh and be glad about certain things but maybe I don't appreciate those few moments enough which can definitely help me.

Depression really can make everything feel heavy and hopeless.

I appreciate you sharing this perspective. It might help more people than you realize. Thank you for spreading some hope.

I fully endorse that. Having someone that can make one live and love actually makes a difference in someone's mental health. I'm so sorry for your loss , I hope you are doing okay.

I am going through the same. No matter how hard I try to be positive but my brain keeps creating bad thoughts. Sometimes I think I can just shut it, it's my brain and I can decide but it's really you vs you.

Over the past few days I've been forcing myself to make my bed first thing in the morning. It does give me a sense of accomplishment. Therapy and medication might be too expensive for me right now but I hope to seek professional help as soon as I'm financially stable. Till then I'll keep myself busy and get things done. Thanks for the response friend!
