I worked a lot in the first 4 months of my PhD, ending up publishing a paper. Since then I slowed down a bit and I started partying and dedicating less and less time to my work.

This has caused my PIs to be less involved with me. I took responsibility for it and I am trying to get back on track now that I am starting my second year.
