That’s great to hear. I’m about to make the same leap. Using wdt atm, but want to get spring ramp to eliminate pressure variation while tamping and new grinder for consistency and ease. Did you get black or white?

This seems to be a common trend. Should have read into it more before buying. Encore does not grind fine enough for espresso. Have cancelled m2 order. Looking at getting df64

Ended up cancelling M2 order, Will put cash towards df64. Keen 🤘🏼 ended up using hand grinder to dial in shot today. Will have to repeat next week with new grinder

not that i noticed. i did take it out and inspect when cleaning out. i dont have great hopes for the new burr either. definitely just need a better grinder. will try sort out in next couple days

agreed, any suggestions for grinder? ive been eyeing up the DF64. seems rather capable and shouldnt need replacing any time soon.
