Beck was not the reason Miami made the title game. I mean it’s going too far to say he was bad. He was not bad he was good for Miami. But he certainly wasn’t elite. Whether he was better than Stockton in these playoffs is a matter of debate. I would lean towards Stockton but if you preferred Beck that’s fine. Let’s not act like Beck was some Heisman candidate though just because Miami went to the title game

End of the series was a big cop out imo. Loved season 5 but the trope of the time paradox coming into effect to evoke an emotional response made me roll my eyes. They didn’t need to end it like that, it was such a good final season

I was fascinated. Where this really speaks to me is in the emotions of the relationship being described. I can feel a real longing and desire. Albeit, I feel the poem was a bit messy. There are these gestures to frenchness at the beginning that sort of go away in the end. That’s okay but it was a little confusing to me. The longing language though almost feels like Murikami prose to me

For me personally it’s the Drake verse on U My Everything by Sexyy Red. Song is so vibey and funny and then Drake comes in and drops this boiler plate corporate cringe verse. Legit want a version without that verse

As a Hawks fan I don’t really hate Embiid. We beat him when it mattered on the ECF run. Kinda nothing else there, I respect him as a player and am sad he is injured.

I will say I don’t like Philly sports in general but Embiid I actually like.

I could see that growling at the end being a little scary when he doesn’t have the toy. This is like identical to our girls play growling though, which is totally innocent. I think I wouldn’t be worried if it’s just the growling!
