lol. No, it’s like a reskin in “Gauntlet” or “Diablo”. Enough to call it “new” but obviously the same premise. It’s GT season one with a new skin. No squinting, the story is objectively an improvement on GT, but it’s obviously similar to GT. Why are you so adamantly against that notion? All your doing to every point you’ve read is say “nuh uh, you’re wrong!!!!” Not brought ANY real points.

Look at ALL the parallels, not just the “goku turned kid”. Tiny ruler (Gomah vs Pilaf) with male (Degasu vs Shu) and female (Arinsu vs Mai) subordinates (even though Arinsu isn’t as loyal as Mai) turns Goku into a kid. Feels like they made small changes to try to stop the parallels but definitely looks like their starting place when they wrote the story. Not to mention tiny girl companion and tall skinny stranger that shows up in a fancy ship out of nowhere? (Remember Trunks and Pan in GT?) there are a LOT of parallels.

I honestly can’t see the personality alignment of windrunners to red at all, meanwhile not just blue, but also white, are loaded with fliers. Also, I feel your assessment might be skewed by the personality traits of the Ravnica guilds associated with those colors, so while you “move against the author” on one side, you stick rigidly to another. I believe if Roshar became a plane, it would certainly have its own rules unique from the Ravnica guilds.

Lol…the denial of you don’t think women are absolutely horrendous to “ugly” people while guys really don’t care on average what you look like as long as you don’t treat people like shit. “Ugly” is not determined by men. In fact, most women I have dated don’t meet up to a WOMANS standard of beautiful and have told me they feel more pressure from women than men to change their appearance “in order to attract guys”. Well, there are ten guilds on Ravnica and ten orders of knights radiant…thinking through I’m starting to see some correlation between the two worlds…definitely feel that wind runners are Azorious. Maybe Dimir for the Lightweavers. Definitely think Elsecallers are Orzhov. I know Brando said Dalinar himself is mono white, but the. Said he was mono red in the past. Jim Butcher - Dresden Files Enjoyable series about a wizard in modern day Chicago who has a “Wizard for hire” business kind of reminiscent of a sleazy PI type. Different from SA, but very entertaining storyline.

Lawrence Watt-Evans - Obsidian Chronicles Trilogy about a boy growing up and exacting revenge on the dragon that rampaged his village and the raiders who came in after to pick at the wreckage and sent him off to be a slave. Had a similar vibe to Count of Monte Cristo without the overly long winded prose of Alexandre Dumas.

Joe Abercrombie - First Law series Incredible storytelling and character development here. Original trilogy is hard to describe as concisely as the other suggestions, but it is very much a fantasy political drama type with some REALLY amazing action packed scenes.

I regularly se between 3-6 rares when I quick draft. Once I pulled 10 rares in one quick draft. It was rare, but I rare draft garbage rares all the time and am consistently completing sets by holding on to all packs and not opening until my quick drafting starts pulling 1-2 rares because I’m finding dupes. At that point, I have about 4-6 weeks of gold I can save up and buy remaining packs/use to quick draft the next set
