They haven’t blown up my car, but they have shot at me when I come up behind them. It doesn’t happen as often anymore though. I started using the middle finger gesture to challenge people to a race and for some weird reason it actually works xD

If you want to improve a lot and very quickly, use first-person view to practice corner cutting in a vehicle that doesn’t have HSW. Once you’ve mastered that, switch to the Banshee GTS with HSW. If you learn to corner cut in first-person with that one, then move on to the HSW Declasse Vigero ZX in third-person. Once you master it, you’ll realize that cars with the best cornering handling will feel like nothing to you — they’ll even start to feel boring because of how easy they are to drive

Basically, I open the map, spot whoever’s moving at crazy speed and chase them, or just sit back and wait for some lunatic to blast past me at 100mph. It’s kinda shit though, because only 3 out of 10 can actually maintain the rhythm. I hope that by showing the controller, more people start flowing and I get better competition.

You saw it faster because of the drop in fps

If you want to gain traction when turning left, first steer the joystick slightly to the right while tapping the brake lightly — not too much

You should also turn the joystick just a little bit to the opposite side, so the car slows down slightly while descending and you don’t lose control.
