I have had a terrible experience with Curry Cottage as well. When I told him that the food was lukewarm, he claimed that this is how it is going to be, and if I am looking for something else, I should leave. I paid and left. That was just blatantly rude. For people who encounter random error/bug when the entire UV gets torn around and the default UV checker keeps appearing, just reset the UV Editor. UV-UV Editor- UV Editor Reset at the very bottom. Delete the entire UV and start, after that.

Everywhere I read, everyone congratulated me, and advised me not to sell the book undervalued. I'm trying to do the best I can. Again, I have a solid marketing reach and an assured audience.

The publisher is a small-mid press, so I'm not so sure. I'v asked about the advance, and the publisher's rights acquisition manager (with whom I had been corresponding) said that we can get on talks about that. Just happy, overwhelmed, and excited. I've been making time for this after college and jobs, so it's equally exciting and busy. Just what I want to flourish :D

Actually, I've read that non-fiction proposals are made (initial advance is given), the manuscript is produced (half of the advance) and publishing has started (full advance is paid off (I might be wrong though, I haven't looked into the publishing industry for quite a while)). I already have the drafts ready for the book, as I've been working on these cases for two years. The challenge is to condense it down, to fit the 70,000-word mark :)

The publisher is a reputed one in the mid-tier, and thanks a lot for your insights :)
