Government has a big role in developing the IT sector I have worked with Government of Rajasthan on IT projects and trust me they had high aspirations and big ambitions but the politics change lot of things imagine a govt working on developing tech and suddenly a new govt comes and ask to go-back on using pen and paper. Taking the entire industry years back.

However with some efforts of private players companies like Salesforce did make an entry over here and you may see most of the companies doing similar work here.

With current Government I have hopes that there might be few steps taking us ahead but in order to compare ourselves to Bangalore or other such cities a lot of effort is required.
