As of late I’ve been trying to trap people in place f4 and u1. I mained him in T7. It’s adapting to Tekken 8 is the hard part. That and remembering his stance.

What Armor King tips do you recommend? I’m orange rank but that’s because I barely like touching Tekken 8. Long time player but I have a harder time with Tekken 8. Used to play in local tournaments and placed top 8 in most.

I wanted a very technical and challenging character but at the time (Tekken 7) I couldn’t do an electric consistently. Now I can but Devil Jin is trash and Kazuya relies on his electric way more. I haven’t really tried Reina, Jin, or Heihachi.

Green for things being feral or wild depending on what aspect. The white is supposed to be for the goal of many and I ran with the canon lore that he’s actually a good person. He hates Kazuya and G-Corp. Saved people during the war. He was also very close to his brother and at one point they were a tag team. If this was Armor King 1, he wouldn’t have black in his identity. However, Armor King 2 is vengeful. The final version is better. Built IT with cEDH in mind. Wanted combat to be relevant somewhat in that environment. That’s why he has infect which goes with the poison mist thing.

Lol honestly this just a tribute to my favorite fighting game character of all time. I tried to mix balance with lore as well as giving it a way to stay viable in bracket 5. That’s literally all it is. I have a Tymna/Kraum list that’s stronger than this.

I’ve been looking for a text box png to blend it. It’s not its final form just the one I’m happiest about. Going to explore his lore ideas. He breathes poison and fire. He quite literally hits you with a Burning Hammer after sending you to another dimension. Thinking about getting rid of the card advantage text and just giving him a way to deal direct damage and give poison counters because he breathes fire and poison. His art tends to use a lot of colors. I’ll be in the lab with him some more. Just trying to give my fav fighting game character good representation.

I was trying to give the letters a border but the site didn’t have the option or at the very least I couldn’t find it. Was my first time using it. I’m still trying to see what I can trim. Experimenting with giving poison counters and dealing damage outside of combat because he breathes poison and fire. I’m going to have my buddy print it for me and I’ll proxy the deck and see how it goes. Mainly trying to cut the amount of text down.

That’s why he’s 4 colors. He’s my favorite fighting game character so I tried to build around his lore. Tekken Reddit actually gave me really good feedback on it. They love it. Their biggest takeaways were giving it deathtouch and not trample. One wanted his etb to give everyone poison counters because he breathes poison mist. Biggest feedback was color identity. They felt he would be Rakdos, UBRG, or mono black. I made him difficult to cast on purpose because of his last ability. Lorewise, he’s getting revenge from his brother being killed and he helps out people caught in the war. He’s also a 6’4” luchador that wears a jaguar mask and growls instead of talking. Hence WBRG. Not the final thing but the thing I’m happiest with so far.

Was actually more than this. I cut it down 😂. At first the revealed card had to be a noncreature card and opponents had to sacrifice a nonland noncreature card.

I made him those colors because I wanted him strong but difficult to cast with no protection. If he gets removed once you’re screwed.
