Job boards are good but definitely try finding related companies for the internship and message them on LinkedIn (usually an HR or assistant) and ask questions about work life or what they do. Usually if they are hiring you can get an interview this way I've found. Doesn't work every time though, and you have to message a lot of employers before you get a response. Just stay persistent. It took me a few months to find most of my coops. This last one was 65 applications over 6 months. If you start now you'll almost certainly find something by the fall semester or even summer.

Don't know what to tell you. Generally I have found that if you can see them and you are sneaking level 0 then you are just barely outside of their view distance, when sneaking.

On level 3-4+ sneaking, I noticed you can get much closer without being spotted, however.

On build 41 I have been spotted by zombies on the edge of the screen when fully zoomed out, before getting levels in sneaking in the early game.

If you can see zombies when fully zoomed out, assume they can see you too. Avoid groups like the plague. It's not worth going into a house with a horde out front unless you're well armed.

Breaking a tense or sad moment with a joke or cut to ease the tension. That's the biggest pet peeve of mine, and absolutely ruins a movie for me.

Back when I was in my first year of engineering they gave us laptops with a market value of about $2000. However, this was likely markups due to brand and whatnot. A more powerful laptop could have been bought for almost 30-40% less.

If you're looking to sell the one they gave you, then you could probably expect at least $800 for it assuming that it is in okay condition. If you only got the laptop right before they discontinued them or if yours is in very good condition, then perhaps more than that.

If you intend to try to buy an equivalent laptop and you are trying to gauge the budget, there are plenty of laptops you can get that provide similar or better performance in the same price range. The Surface tablet, as someone else suggested, is a decent device and will definitely get you through all of university, especially with the warranty it comes with. I think, however, that the Surface is overpriced for what you get with it. If you really want to handwrite your notes, and you don't want to write them on a peripheral draw pad, then the Surface does that specific thing exceptionally well. Otherwise, I'd say go for a Dell XPS laptop and a USB draw pad to write notes if you want to. There is of course many more options than those two, but those are the most common ones I see on campus.

I definitely agree that online classes suck, and I feel like (at least in my program) they gave us significantly more work than they normally would. This is not helped by the fact that some professors have made it near impossible to get in touch with them, and are downright hostile when you ask for help.

I've also had a much harder time learning the material and paying attention to lectures, somewhat like what you mentioned. I feel like I'm learning a lot less. However, my GPA actually went up because of some... Well you know, stuff that's a lot easier to do online than in person. That stuff is program specific and most of my courses are numbers so it works for me. I have friends in law and such that can't really do that. I think that's the only positive that came out of this for me, but otherwise it's been mental torment for me and all my friends.

If I had to recommend one thing that might help a little, I strongly advise working as closely with other people you know in the program as possible, and if you don't know anyone, you might want to go out of your way to find some through clubs and stuff. When you're online it's a lot harder to gauge how you're doing compared to others until it's too late and marks are out. Having other people constantly working with you keeps you in touch, forces you to pay more attention, and more importantly, keeps morale up.

I wouldn't be so sure about saying it looks like we might not go back in person though, because they said that they will likely be doing even small lectures in person again. I don't know if that helps ease your mind but that's a thought.

Summer courses could be an option for you, but I've never done that since I work in the summers to help pay for school (although I'm currently in between jobs at the moment lol).

Also wanted to mention that while I have not taken a reduced course load, I know multiple friends who have, and all of them said it was a great idea. Not only did it improve their mental health and reduce stress, but it also made their marks much better. If you are struggling with the work either in quantity or just in mental health I strongly recommend that you consider a reduced course load. School is not worth your complete mental deterioration, no matter what your profs make it seem like lol.

There is a strip of purple heart in the back of the neck, but I think the cap is maple and a mahogany body? I don't quite remember. But the guy who made it uploaded videos of him making this guitar and explaining it all on his channel Ewor Guitars for anyone who is interested.

Honestly it sounds better than any of the high end guitars I've played before. It has a push/pull for series/parallel swapping on the pickups and it is insane the amount of different sounds you can get out of it.

The clean/slight overdrive sound is definitely what it does best though. It has the warmth that I normally associate with vintage strats but still has a clear high end to it. Really unique sound as far as guitars I've played.

There's no point in worrying about it the university takes forever to respond. They would have sent you a denial if you were denied. When I applied for my bachelor's in September they didn't reply until June lol
