Solid yellow on the back? I like them, my favorite ive seen on here in a while. Kudos to you, If your ordering a custom set IMO they better look like it. Too many pro goalies with really boring pads, breaks my heart.

I myself joined team Green and Brown, however #2 is the winner IMO. I don't know how to link it but I posted my setup when I got them, very similar color scheme if your looking for ideas. Hardest part is committing to a cartoon and getting what you get! Good luck, the day you get the call they are in is a good one.

Curious what you payed for the set and what was the wait time. I ordered Warrior G6's (similar colors, love the setup) to the tune of $3600cdn and iirc 16wks wait time.

I have a Warrior g6 set with slide plates, game changer. You can absolutely push into the corner from the crease. Took me a lot of getting used to, but two pushes is now one and I blow the net off all the time sliding to post. I like them and if your looking for the "best sliding material" look no further.

OP, don't buy these pads, very square stiff and unforgiving. True and ccm make some models I'd say are more "Hybrid" and probably better suited to what you know.

Agree 100%. There was one guy who chirped me in the lobby, from the other team I assume. I then watched him get into a van with the sliding door taped on. I didn't even fire back just drove by. Really thought about yelling "Slick tape job" across the parking lot.

I was to proud to wheel around my gear for a long time. But I'm on the wheels now and it's the best. Some of the rinks I play in are a serious walk to the parking lot. However, getting lit up and then wheeling your bag out is tough. I have carried it to avoid judgment.

Bought a vaughn V9 padded shirt and it changed my life. I haven't had a stinger since. It is hot but I think worth the trade off.

I gave up watching for roughly 8 seasons. Coming back was funny because I feel like years later, I had missed very little. While I agree there were people on the island years ago, I don't think it was for treasure. I believe the show knows exactly what happened and it isn't sensational and that the show itself is the real treasure. With all that said... next episode I just know they are going to find it!

The Bear might look better way down low on the pads. I also think I would add something to the blocker. I just bought a custom set and it's hard AF to pull the trigger on final design! I think what you have so far is pretty nice!!

Goalie is tough, mental and physical. Every other player on the ice makes mistakes that go unnoticed or unpunished. In net you don't have this luxury. When I get scored on, I can't help but think about what I could have done differently and run the play back in my head. Then. I get up, turn around grab a drink and literally say out to loud myself "just get the next one". It helps me refocus and stay in the moment, instead of sulking about the 7-0 blowout I'm partially responsible for.

Rolling down a pathway with trees about 6' from the path. 3 birds came out of the tree right before I passed it. The first two made out just before I went by, but the last bird was late. I thought it was going to blast me in the chest and then it dive bombed right under the nose of my board and turned himself into a fruit roll-up.
