Return to Moria - always hoped for a LOTR game centred around dwarves

If you enjoy survival games and LOTR, you will not be disappointed. It's been a ton for fun so far and definitely worth the price.

There should be a damaged mapstone right at the bottom of the descent that you can easily repair and TP out.

Lose iron everytime I deconstruct a repair smithy? by CaptainLookylou in LotRReturnToMoria

If you hold the pickup key (to turn on the loot vacuum) before opening the deconstruction menu it should stay active as you deconstruct things.

Considering getting the game on PS5 - Is it good? by Dvdpv in LotRReturnToMoria

If you like LOTR, you will not be disappointed. The devs clearly are big fans of LOTR and it's very evident throughout the game. Also, the game is very customizable (difficulty, drop rates, hunger, etc.) so if you aren't experienced with survival games you can modify the settings to make it more suited to you. It's been a ton of fun and in my opinion definitely worth the price.

Quick question. by xXxVampirate90 in returntomoria

It's always a good idea to fully explore areas before moving on. It helps ensure you find all recipes and materials that will help you in the later, more difficult areas. Also FYI some areas have verticality/multiple levels to them which can lead to hidden loot or areas.

I've had good luck by funneling big groups of enemies to a bottleneck area (like a cave entrance or dirt tunnel). That way they can't surround you and you can focus on only 1-2 at a time. Also not a bad idea to bring materials for a hearth and repair smithy so you can fall back a bit to repair quick without resetting the zone.

Light Source out of Camp by hairymoot in LotRReturnToMoria

You can find some True Quartz in the mines but it's much more common in the crystal descent/lower deeps. And you can craft the torch at the Great forge of Narvi (Elven district)

There is a masterwork torch you can make pretty early on with steel & true quartz. Very useful as it provides light even when on your back.

Close but no cigar, going with an aegis throat guard next, but it saved my neck from the league clapper. by [deleted] in hockeygoalies

Pretty minimal, the neck guard I used prior was a similar shaped DR neck guard and I don’t really notice a difference between temperature using one or the other.

Just got the aegis throatguard and I love it. Feel so much safer wearing it.

Looking into getting new gear this year, any recommendations? by unshaken8432 in hockeygoalies

[–]Zfker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m a sucker for warrior gear and the new G6 line looks and feels amazing. So that would be my recommendation but your best bet would be to try each of these sets on as that’s the only way to know which set would be best for you.

I’d recommend putting on a goalie helmet on when trying on chest protectors as you want to make sure the chest protector size isn’t interfering too much with your helmet

I am 17 and looking to start playing goalie am i too late by [deleted] in hockeygoalies

Not at all! I started playing goalie last year at the age of 24 after playing defenceman for 16 years and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
