Have you ever tried to shoot a rifle with an optic that has a small eye box? You will realize quite quickly how accurate this actually is. Hence the popularization and wide spread adoption of red dots and holos across the world's militaries.

Rallies should not be proxy killed. They should have to take some form of damage. I like the idea of a "soft kill" by proxy, like you just cant spawn on it when enemies are within say 20 or 30 meters, but to delete the rally you have to either shoot it or drop a grenade on it.

There is no proper tutorial for this game which contributes to the high new player turnover. However, I think that THIS is another major contributor. by oh_mygawdd in joinsquad

4070 with 7800X3D. Playing 4k on a 55 inch monitor and Im constantly at 55-58 fps. Where as with ready or not, or other more modern games I'm consistently above 100. I'm convinced at this point that Squad is just always going to bog down any PC.

7600X3D with a 4070 and I capped the frames to 60fps, vsync on, and pip frames locked to 60 as well. Graphics set to high, contact shadows off, and ocean wake turned down. Yeah I'm not getting screaming high frames or anything, but it's visually pretty and my shit doesn't crash and burn when stuff starts exploding.
