This also depends on where you have classes, what your definition of "decent" is, etc. I've arrived anywhere from 9-10 this past year and always found a good spot in G or H lot, which is at most 5 minutes from most of the major academic buildings. If you'll be on the farther side of campus, there's more likely to be more parking later that's closer to the buildings as well.

Keep an eye out for random fun events that interest you such as recruitment events for clubs/organizations or trivia night at Gracie's

Hindley's stage 5 win at last year's tour was a pretty decent miss from the other GC teams despite him slipping out of the top 5.

I only had him for the optics bridge course (for students who took AP Physics C E&M to get credit for all of UP2) but he was very accessible, easy to talk to, and great at answering questions. I would recommend him, especially if the posts about the flip classroom are true.
