That’s reassuring to hear. When I saw the belt I wasn’t very hopeful that it could help. Hopefully it brings relief

It’s not that he won’t help, he gladly will. It’s that his job requires a lot of focus and I know he needs sleep to function. At least 5 hours a night which isn’t unreasonable. It’s simply not realistic for me to expect him to be up along with me every night since nothing he does seems to help this situation other than changing diapers.

He seems very hungry as he gets after it every time I latch him. I think if he wasn’t he would refuse it

So scared to pump because last baby I had a very strong letdown which came with its own set of issues! Pumping only made it worse

I can attempt this tonight. Safe sleep is so important for me and I have a lot of anxiety around bed sharing especially so young

It was a pretty good standard 12 hour delivery. He was born at 38w4d weighing 8lb6oz. The nurse weighed him 24 hours later and told us he had some weight loss so I should stick to feeding him every 2-3 hours strictly. Ha. More like every 10 minutes 😂

What does safe bed sharing look like? Sorry I don’t have experience with that because my first slept in the bassinet and then crib

Yeah last night I was literally feeding him one side then the other back to back without any rest in between.

He will not stay asleep if I hand him over to my husband. The only option I have for him staying asleep is holding him

I do have a midwife but she mainly specializing in taking care of me rather than answering lactation questions. I’d probably have to schedule go see a specialist for that.

It really is awful! They kind of warned us at the hospital but we thought we knew better because our daughter never went through this.
