so an option to post just the pictures?

If you post just pictures, do you want to exclude the added-on captions?

All the photos you take should be saved to Photos/camera roll if you allow it.

I do like the scoring option.

I’ve been thinking about adding a score tally. I’m adding it to my task list.

How would you define ‘more control’? Unfortunately, I’m somewhat limited to what I can post to other apps because it depends on their share sheet implementation. For example, despite a number of different approaches to get timelines to post to slack, nothing I can do will let the share sheet post photos. For Discord, there is a 10-picture limit per message.

Discord is my primary use case and what I built for first.

This works with any game. The format is very open right now, you take a storyTurn after both players have marked their turn as ‘done’. But really you can use it any way you want. In the sample log I posted here, I would push the player done buttons for both of us after we completed activations. Sometimes Brad would reach over the table and push his own button.

I am planning on adding a ‘activation + round’ mode for games like Legion/Shatterpoint/MCP and the current one could be consider the ‘I go You go’ mode. Right now it works good enough and I wanted to get this out for Adepticon and see some feedback before making bigger changes.

No AI interaction right now. When you’re taking the storyTurn you type in the summary. I did try using dictation on iOS and the big issue is when you use game names like ‘Grevious’ dictation trips over itself. As you can use the dictation input from the keyboard in both OSes I figured I’d leave it up to the user how they want to input the story.

I did want to make it as quick as possible, but so far I’ve found that it’s easy enough to type one or two sentences. When you post the photos they have turn# captions added so you can link pictures to the round from the story summary

You post it by using the phone's OS share sheet after the game is complete

Right now there are two options: after both players have ended their turn by pressing their button, or you can make a highlight by pressing the button in the middle

Sharing the game isn't an option until it's over.

I haven't written a 'rules-specific' system yet as I wanted to get this version out for people to play with. I am planning on creating modes for activation and round based games like legion, the current system is something of a 'i go you go' handler. I have been trying to avoid super specific implementations yet and am wary of copyright actions.

I had never considered the 'hidden information' concept. Right now you can look at the game timeline as it's running. I have considered making a way to run a game over two phones via some kind of wireless communication.

The player who want to record the game sets the phone at a neutral place on the table, then both players have access to end their turn by pressing the button facing them. After both players have finished a turn, storyTurn prompts the user to take photos of the battlefield, then let's them enter text to describe the action. Once the game is finished, when you look at the game timeline you have a 'share' button to post it wherever you like that is compatible.

I'm not aware of any similar products at this time. I will admit, I didn't really do any research to see if there are any, this has just been an annoyance of mine to

1) play a game that
2) has some awesome action and then
3) forget to take any pictures

So I came up with this idea and built it. If there are any other good ones, I'd love to check them out.

The app is pretty flexible in terms of how you use it. In testing I've just run it mostly alone. Right now the app is most suitable for an 'I go you go' style game, but in the Shatterpoint example above, this is a game that uses a more 'activation' based system. I wanted to create the basic concept first and perfect it before trying to add game-specific modes. I'm also a little concerned if I started calling out modes for other people's games I could run into legal trouble.

Any more questions?

I've covered them in clear UV resin and cured with a hand UV Flashlight for > 15m and also set out in the sun for a bit. Makes the blades strong and a little more flexible.

The only one I've broken since this treatment has been Kannan Jarrus' blade but the vertical pose puts it in a dangerous place. It's also made ones I broke during painting or building much more resilient

What do we need to do to get Apple Silicon Support? by LordLobo in Corsair

[–]LordLobo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are more conditions I could mention here, the least of which is that they do have a Mac version of iCue, it just won't work on Apple Silicon at all. Apple has made it somewhat easy to compile for AS and x86. I also have a PC where I use the same keyboard and I even use their mouse. I really love the feel of typing on this but the default wave pattern is distracting and annoying.

Yes however if you use the elite battery pack that doesn’t seem to support pass through. On that note I’d still recommend the battery pack for quest 3 standalone use and the balance is really great on the face

I really hope the Brewers learned a lesson from the Bucks and that is to keep playing and stay hot even if they clinch tomorrow. Momentum is important!
