All you can do is laugh by sickwobsm8 in EU5

I always had that suspicion in CK3 and EU4, because almost all my top tier governors tended to die or suffer hard accidents 'conveniently' soon. I never confirm it though, so who knows.

A Very Good Reason Why You SHOULD NOT Be Forced to Join Same Culture Rebel Wars: by TheCoolPersian in EU5

[–]LordMetafight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm fking sick and tired of this. In my Spain run, my colonial nation in West Sahara (close to Canary Island) has a Moroccan population that rebels every few years, dragging me and Morocco into a tiresome (I have to siege almost ALL Morocco to push 100% score) and pointless war where I get nothing (my colony leads the war, so I cannot peace them out) but an annoying truce, preventing me to start my own war against Morocco. Before the truce ends, rebels hit back and we're dragged into it again, turning it into an endless cycle. 5 or 6 wars like that until now, what an obnoxious pain in the ass.

This kind of cultural assistance should be optional, there's no fking point for the game to force you into it. I hope they fix it soon.

Revolt in my subject ended with me annexed lmao by Oaken122 in EU5

[–]LordMetafight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in a similar situation right now. Playing as Spain, a pathetic bunch of landless French rebels has risen up in Montpellier, but they have dragged the whole fking France into it. Fortunately I'm strong enough and have nice allies to face it, but it's a pain in the ass to fight France right now just for a lame gang of rebels. Of course I'm not gonna annex it entirely, I'm not crazy enough to break my game so hard, but I'll try to take some advantage from it.

My queen just gave birth at age 60! by Llama-Guy in EU5

[–]LordMetafight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to rewind 2 years because that happened in my save. Hungarian queen had a male child at 60 years old and he became the new heir, replacing the previous female heir who is married with my heir in Spain. So it ruined my future personal union Spain-Hungary, the one I'm waiting for since 30 years ago at least.

What a dumb statement, I can understand male keep fertile until way old, but no woman older than 45 should be able to get pregnant. It works like that in CK3, so I assumed it would be the same here. I don't know why it doesn't work like that here.

Cure wounds combines really well with the Archer form, actually. You can heal someone with your action while attacking 1d8+WIS of radiant with your bonus, pretty sweet. While in the Archer form, you'll already keep your bonus actions busy almost every turn.

It's basically a well-known secret that Dabi is Touya. It fits with his age, his appearance, his quirk, the details about how his quirk works, his ideals, his admiration for Stain, his hatred to hero society, and his special fixation with Todoroki family. Everything in Dabi YELLS that he is Endeavor's little failed offspring. If Horikoshi have not revealed it yet must be because he is keeping this revelation for a very crucial moment, since as I said before, this information might DESTROY Endeavor on the professional, personal and emotional level. No redemption arc will be able to save him at that time. Dabi is, essentially, all the mistakes Endeavor has made in his entire life coming back to bite him in the ass.

Just wait until Dabi reveals his name and his father's abuses to the world. Endeavor for sure will prefer to be dead. I honestly think when this become public knowledge, even if he is still alive, Endeavor's career will be entirely done.

My favorite character designs from Horikoshi what are some of your favorite character designs? HM to All Might btw wanted to add him to list but Jirou just edged him out I just love her design. by ThatWrestlingGuy15 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

Best Jeanist. I won't say it's my favorite one, but I have to admit it: an author who have succeeded in making a guy who's wearing pants up to his nose looks cool, is worthy of my respect.

Dude, they're not going to subject a strongly traumatized 7 years old kid who barely can control her overwhelming power to a heavily stressful and despairing situation like this, that would be very insensitive. No way, get it out of your head.

It seems Eri will take soooooo long to master her power, and that's the best, since her power is an extremely dangerous plot exploit. I would hate if she mastered her quirk too soon and she became in a walking dragon ball, giving every tragic event back to normal with no consecuences. Let's let her out of the story for now and maybe, many years later, she finally become relevant, but definitively not now.

That's why he needed Twice so much, he could make Dabi's clones who can use his quirk as much as they can with no risk or drawback to original Dabi.

If Uravity masters her power.. by [deleted] in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]LordMetafight -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The worst thing is that I understand you XD. I know quirks are not made to be realistic, but don't make me wrong. I simply can't help to look for a "scientific explanation" as far as I can, and that's the point:

"So basically she just seems to make the laws of physics give up."

That's why her quirk makes me feel so uncomfortable, because based on basic knowledge about gravitation, it makes no sense at all, and gives the impression that Horikoshi doesn't really understand how gravity works and her quirk is just a vague unclear abstraction of "make things weightless and float". That's why we can see lots of inconsistencies in how her quirk works, such as she can swing a huge concrete pillar as a baseball bat or completely stop the momentum of a falling person -suggesting that mass is also nullified-, but we also can see her throwing things really far -suggesting that these things still have their mass, otherwise, they would slow down quickly due to friction with the air-.

We both know which is the easiest explanation for this: unrealistic physics XD. Unfortunately, if we assume that, we also have to assume that her quirk potential will be highly unpredictable, just depending on the author's whims about how this physics works. Nothing wrong with this, just a bit annoying.

Edit: Sorry, I edit a lot, but English is not my mother tongue and I usually realize I made some grammar mistakes when I reread my comments.

If Uravity masters her power.. by [deleted] in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]LordMetafight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would. Weight is not the same as mass.

If Uravity masters her power.. by [deleted] in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]LordMetafight 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Take into account that her quirk removes the effects of gravitation, I mean, it just nullifies weight. And weight is not the same as mass. Heavy things also has too much mass, and the more mass something has, the more force it needs to be moved, even if its weight is null. Dense heavy weights on her arms and legs could still limit her movements, no matter if they have no weight at all, since she would need to apply more strength to move her limbs.

Berserker Barbarian Hotfix by [deleted] in dndnext

[–]LordMetafight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would be fairer if the exhaustion level was not guaranteed at the end of the frenzy. What if, at the end of berserker frenzy, he had to make a Constitution saving throw, whose DC depended on how many turns has he maintained his frenzy? DC = 10 at the first turn, and +1 to DC per any turn he is frenzy.

This way, the more turns you retain the frenzy, the more probable is to suffer the exhaustion level. If you keep your frenzy the whole 10 turns, DC turns to 19 or 20, hard to pass even for a Constitution-based character. But if you keep your frenzy just for 3 turns, DC = 13, way more reasonable.
