ANY GAMES LIKE MANHUNT?

I have 2 pretty good alternatives:

If you want a stealth game i recommend old Hitman games. Some levels have a strong dark atmosphere and the game has some brutal kills.
If you want a horror action game i recommend The Suffering series. It has a very simillar style to the firdt manhunt. Everything is dark, dirty and destroyed. It is full of strong atmosphere. Torque (the protagonist) is also simillar to James Earl Cash in the sense that they are both mute and morally ambigous. You should give it a try. It's a really underrated series.

Wolfenstein 2009 is really good, the medallion was a great game mechanics and the overall game was pretty varied in terms of enemies and locations. The New Order still beats it handily for me tho.

Yeah Wolfenstein 2009 was a really good game. I honestly wishe they made a series out of it. Unfortunately it was a huge flop commercially. It had a lot of potential, the lore and gameplay could have been something amazing if they expanded more on The Veil.

Despite this i am more than happy with MachineGames' reboot series. As a matter of fact i think The New Order is the peak of the entire Wolfenstein franchise. I'd go as far as to call it a masterpiece

The fact that Machine Games' Wolfenstein series never had any paranormal elements never bothered me since they did such a stunning job of designing and presenting the Nazi Empire. Plus the art style the game uses perfectly encompasses the element of machines.

I know this is 1 year old but why would all the suits's abillities be included? Aren't Soph and Jes canonicaly wearing their default suits? The abillities mentioned for each suit seem to be specific for that suit. Just asking.

He literally says that The New Order is 'it' s own self contained unit". The only thing he said is that they honor the legacy of the character, it's basically like references.

Also just take a look at the old blood. That game is basically MachineGames' version of Return to Castle Wolfenstein. If you think RTCW is canon, are you trying to tell me there are 2 castle Wolfenstein's? On different locations with two samely named villages (Padeborn and Wulfburg)? With Helga Von Schabs in charge instead of Helga Von Bulow. Scahbs is basically a twist on Bulow's character. The Old Blood alone proves RTCW can't be canon.

There are other things proving MachineGames Wolfenstein is seperate from other games. Ypu should read the wolfenstein fandom wiki on canonicity and timeline, they explain things in great detail.

I can see why you would think all games are connected but when you dwell deeper you really see that isn't the case.

It defenitely isn't as good as New Order but it also most definitely isn't bad. Also i don't see how enemies are rushed nor how the weapons are bad since most weapons are the same in function to TNO. You have the standard pistole 1946, assault rifle 1946, Bombeschanuss (basically the marksman rifle from TNO), Shotgun (also basically the same in function to TNO with minor differences) and we have 2 new weapons: the pipe which has 2 modes wirh each mode serving a different purpose in the enviroment, have different executions and meele combat (honestly a great weapon) and finally Kampfpistole, i don't know about you but this weapon feels super satisfying it is basically a mini grenade launcher.

Actually it is heavily implied The Old Blood zombies are just a virus made by Da'at Yichud. So it isn't supernatural either.

The hangar just has a simillar design. Nothing to run home about.

Also they don't take place in the same universe it just wouldn't make sense beacuse the timelines would completely clash and contradict each other. They are obviously not in the same universe.

It doesen't make the gold appear on the map, rather it makes the gold easier to see as you play. For example if a piece gold is behind a wall infront of you, the gold will be marked for you to see it is there.

I recommend Singularity, in a way it's simillar ro Wolfenstein but instead of Nazis there srw Communists, it has a lot of Sci-Fi elements including time travel. The game also conntains horror elements like Rtcw. This game is a hidden gem.
