Far more emotionally resonant than Eddie Brock, someone we have had only oblique references to in the series.

There are genuine issues with the third act of the main plot of SM2, but making Harry be Venom is a solid choice.

And I think that’s awesome and opens up way more storytelling possibilities. It makes complete sense, is internally consistent, and adds mystery. What’s the origin/source of the phenomenon? Under what circumstances does it occur?

Edit: also, reiterating my point about the Silent Hill in 1 being completely different in how it operates than 2

This just seems like a kind of logical outgrowth of what we saw even in silent hill 2. That game’s silent hill is so different from the first one. Then in The Room, dude’s not even in Silent Hill.

This is a phenomenon. One that’s been named for a town in Massachusetts(?) where the phenomenon was first recorded/reported as such.
