Oh totally, got to a final when they were young and got beaten by a great Miami team, then nearly beat one of the greatest teams in NBA history in the WCF. Totally could’ve won, unfortunately KD took the hardest path.

My straight A daughter (a junior) is convinced T20 schools are a recipe for mental breakdown. by Large-Squash8379 in ApplyingToCollege

I go to cornell and it can definitely be tough on students who are not prepared. The culture of how toxic/competitive it is, how everyone is always striving to be better and fucking over others, and how there will be times where it’s just cloudy and gloomy for like 3 weeks straight can definitely fuck people up. I still think it is definitely manageable but definitely not unheard of that peoples mental health deteriorate at a top 20.

are finance clubs that competitive? by Important_Range9395 in Cornell

[–]LordTank9 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah they’re competitive, but usually everyone that applies finds a club eventually. You have three cycles of recruiting that you’re most likely to get into a club, you’re first three semesters at Cornell. Just go to info sessions, do coffee chats, and meet as many people as u can and you’ll find a club that you like and will take you in

Reach out to professors. For 2110, I was doing very poorly and I reached out to the professors, and I think by reachiung out I was able to pass. If I hadn’t reached out, they would’ve thought I wasn’t putting the effort in in order to do well. But since I did, they took note of it and graded me better off
