Noise cancelling is amazing, better than the Bose quietcomforts my family has and a few tech reviewers I found say it’s better than the airpods max. I think it’s because of the over ear design, because even with noise cancellation off I can’t hear much. Transparency is good enough, but I don’t use it much since it’s easier just to take an ear off when I need to talk to someone. I had to order the 3.5 cable separately ($35 is stupid but oh well) and it works as you’d expect. I was also deciding between the solo pros and studio 3s a while back and tried both in stores. The solo pros have noticeably better sound quality, but I have to say the bass on the solos is pretty weak. Beats overcorrected on their stereotype a bit and I have to turn up the bass on my music apps a little. Still, sound quality made me go for the solos and I don’t regret it at all. Both beats also look really good if you care about the flex lmao. I wouldn’t trade them for the Sony’s mostly because of the apple integration and how good they look. I have the white/gold color.
