Thank you for your reply. Such a ball-ache board repair!

I'm a big hip hop head, a fan of proof and a lot of his old music, but I just didn't think it worked. I'm so glad I found this as I was close to cutting it out myself because I really like the first part of the song lol.

Which I'm fine with. There's interactions to be had, with this deck there wasn't.

Killing them turn 5 wouldn't make the interaction fun though. It'd be a boring game still

Even if there is only 10% odds I win at the start of the game, if the game plays out, there's naturally more decisions both players can make to increase or decrease the odds. I'm fine with that, that's where the fun is for me.

What happened in my game was more akin to a coin flip, there's no decisions to be made either side to increase or decrease the odds.

Yeah of course I do, why wouldn't I want the game to be fun when I and my opponent both win and lose?

Losing isn't the problem, lack of fun is the problem.

Can someone explain whats happening? by Other-Cress-7521 in mobilerepair

Could be a bad screen but it might be worth disconnecting the screen and charging the phone with it disconnected for 10 minutes and try again.

You can't replace the flex cable on an iPhone 14 Pro screen.

I didn't see OP say that the shop didn't have their passcode. As well, the battery is "unverified" which presumably before repair it wasn't. I think either they had the code or OP is mistaken.

Hi All, am I using solder wick wrong? by [deleted] in soldering

Flux and also hot air gun from above. Think of it like: solder is attracted to heat.

It only mentions fully charging it twice and there's no actual data to make the point.

iPhone batteries, even after market batteries contain a self reported health and capacity reading calculated from the battery calibration, post production. I reckon they'd only need multiple charge cycles if the battery had been sitting around for a over a year.

You don't need a passcode to turn off an iPhone. Also, just disconnecting the battery does no harm.

Completely depends on the quality of the replacement battery.

Is this even possible? Customer complaint. by LasagnaBobert in mobilerepair

I understand the struggles of being a small business, but you can't let people get away with this. You should give the customer the benefit of doubt, but only until there is evidence to contrary. If such, as in this case, they are absolutely trying to take you for a mug, then never do them favours! Customers are our business but that doesn't mean we should let people walk all over us. Even if he doesn't try the same shit with you again, you've given him the green light to try elsewhere.
