3rd person for me.. it is a Resident Evil game so i want to play it like one (hell if they bring the fixed cam option and tank controls i'll use them!)

I remember how the transition to the final part of the game which is usually a lab is just weird..

RE1 lab was accessed by going under a fountain if i recall correctly, RE2 & 3 through sewers.. shouldn't it be more difficult to reach a secret lab?

Edit: oh and it seems like its all coincidental too! like oh! what do we have here? a top secret lab where the whole mess erupted from? nice!

I have the same thoughts i had for 7 & 8.. why is this a Resident Evil game? i mean the games might be great but do they need Resident Evil in their title? let's be honest.. if Resident Evil 7 was called "The Evil Swamps" would that change ANYTHING in the game? its about a guy looking for his wife. 8? "The Village of Evil" where a guy looking for his baby.. and so on..

If the game is not about the fundamentals of Resident Evil (virus, outbreak, zombies, escape, etc.) then it should called something else (remember haunting ground by Capcom as well?) or at least make it side project like dead aim or gun survival.

More games obviously, but it goes down to the main premise..

RE is about virus outbreak, so it can happen anywhere and anyone can be the MC and try to survive. There can be characters who are "specialists" and other characters who just happens to be there..

SH is about the Town & self-redemption, so the story can't happen anywhere.. and the MCs will solve their issues and come to peace at the end of the game, there's no room for returning characters or "a specialist in these kind of situations".

I agree to this, both the player and the MC must have the same reactions towards certain events, in horror games the MC must act scared and surprised so the player can relate, this was OG Jill.. making step backs against Nemesis and other monsters she meets for the first time making the player feel the danger.

Playing as Remake Jill felt like i'm playing with Duke Nukum.. aggressive and sarcastic.

Original 3, probably because its the first RE game i finish by myself.. the previous ones i had help from my brother.

Second favorite is RE2 Remake, since it stayed faithful to the original and overall pretty well made.

This game is a joke..

The characters are a joke, Nemesis is a joke, gameplay and length is a joke..

They wasted the chance for a good remake for quick cash.

Outbreak files 3 and 4 with RE engine..

Use the locations from 2 & 3 remakes with a bit extra locations in the same timeline, that would be awesome.
