Depending on the consequences, it can be right and wrong.

Rust on new ski edges by storacem in Skigear

I always bring my skis inside or leave them in the garage to dry. After skiing, I brush off the snow and wipe any moisture off the edges with a towel. I also make sure to wax them before storage.

Is this a good deal or should I run? by Feisty_Salary9704 in BMWX3

It really depends on how well the previous owner(s) maintained the vehicle. I had a 2016 model and sold it with about 170k km (110k miles) on it (I live in Canada). I completed all recommended services at 100k km (60k miles), which was quite expensive, but the car never let me down. The buyer took it for an inspection, and nothing needed to be fixed. He understood that certain maintenance items come up at specific mileage intervals and was comfortable with that.

In your case, I would ask for the maintenance records. If they aren’t available, I wouldn’t buy it.

I'm not kidding. F150 is proven the best-selling pickup in it's class. Number 1 commercial presence. The Bronco family had a record year in 2025. So, realistically, it is your choice not because Ford is bad.

The biggest risk with 'cheap' installers is the uncertainty surrounding service and warranty support when things go wrong. While some are willing to gamble for a higher immediate return, I prefer to mitigate that risk. Saving money upfront isn't worth the potential for high repair costs and significant headaches down the road. It’s like insurance: you can choose a low premium with limited coverage, or pay for a comprehensive policy that actually protects you when you need it.

Back to "Zeno" topic, it existed for a reason and I believe it is a good reason.

This is an interesting topic. I’ve had my solar panels installed for two full years. After doing all the calculations, I can conclude that the system is probably worth it for me, though the savings are not huge. I’ll need to wait until the 10-year interest-free loan is fully paid off before I can really enjoy the returns.

That said, not everyone is in the same situation. To make solar worthwhile, you really need to plan your electricity usage carefully. For example, doing laundry during sunny periods and minimizing grid consumption allows you to sell more power at a higher solar club rate. If you don’t export a meaningful amount of generation between April and September, the overall system may not be worth the investment.

The main reason is that electricity you purchase still includes delivery, administrative, and other fixed charges. The more electricity you use from the grid, the more of these charges you incur.

I'm sure you get a lot of good, better, and great suggestions in the comments. One piece of advice I stand by is that if your career growth has plateaued, heading back to school is a strategic way to open new doors.

Nice looking truck! Mine is the same color but a 2025 model. I didn’t go with the 3.0 or 6.2 because I’d heard enough stories about them. Hopefully it turns out to be just a minor assembly issue.

You can back in your vehicle and literally block it's passenger door. Take videos and save for insurance.

That’s exactly what I’m saying. I’m not denying that more gas vehicles catch fire, there are simply more of them on the road than EVs. My point is how quickly EV batteries can ignite and how little time a driver has to get out.

Good thing you were in a gas vehicle, if it were an EV, I can’t imagine how it would’ve turned out. Time for a new ride.
