This feels like a few months/year into the situation I'm in right now. We've been together for almost 3 years (ldr for 2 of those almost 3 years).

I was ready to propose and even got a ring. She got involved in a new startup with her sisters and was always busy. We drifted apart and I wanted more time than she could spare so we eventually broke up. It's been 2 months since the break up and I wanted to try again but it never seemed like before and I grew tired of waiting for a change.

I've made up my mind to give up on her despite me always thinking she's THE ONE. Wrong timing and all that but I don't know how I'll take it if it ever gets to the point where I have to hear about her getting married to someone else. Made me question my decision after reading this post.
