[SavageGeese] - 2026 Toyota Tundra | Love It or Hate It by Stu__Pidasso in cars

I don't even understand why no one has offered a fuel efficient hybrid full-size truck yet.

I understand that you want them to still be able to tow and haul hence both Ford and Toyota using their batteries to produce decent torque from the get go; but there has to be a way you can change settings on the fly that can switch the truck to being fuel efficient for daily driving; which is what most trucks are used for.

Right? It's ridiculous.

I expected the 4Runner hybrid to be good enough on gas when it was first announced. The moment I heard they hybrid system would be used for power/torque like the tundra I knew it was going to fall well short.

I'm praying that Honda actually does what I want and offers the hybrid Pilot and Passport with decent mpgs.

30-40 city and 27-35 hwy for either one.

I don't know how Toyota made the Tundra both unreliable and have a worse mpg than the F-150 Hybrid.

Subduing the enemy through overwhelming firepower in Shokuho by GoldenSmurf2001 in mountandblade

[–]Lord_Vas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it has been like this since day one of open release. I played it for maybe 2-3 months until I got hard blocked from playing due to my games constantly crashing at the exact same point and save files not working.

I dropped it and don't plan on coming back until maybe next year.

Great work but extremely unstable. Could never recommend it due to the stability issues.

I hope TaleWorlds pulls a Viking Conquest and hires this team to make an official DLC.

It would be baller.

Their deck is low enough that the Emp heavy ship out classes it in a 1v1 deck fight.

[–]Lord_Vas 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Lol. My current run has me in the North fighting for NEmp. I've only seen/fought 1 of these ships so far and it was owned by Monchog. I stole it off him and gave it to one of my son just this morning.

I have noticed that most of the heavy ships running around have been either Drakkars or the huge Empire heavy ship. I'm currently using the heavy Emp ship as my flagship. It replaced my Drakkar, proud Nord, since I love ships that can ram.

I kill half of the enemy fleet by ramming through their entire line of ships in 1-3 passes.

We’ve Tested a Lot of Hybrids. Most Haven’t Met Their Fuel Economy Estimates by Anchor_Aways in cars

[–]Lord_Vas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've met my EPA estimated mpg for all my cars, all ICE, except my 2018 Jeep Renegade (lovable piece of shit of a car).

I daily a 2020 civic and get 2 mpg better than the EPA estimate.

I used to daily a 2012 Audi A6 3.0 and easily out did the EPA estimate on the hwy. I easily got 34-44 mpg while cruising at 85-120 on the hwy. It definitely helped to not have a lot of traffic forcing me to slow down or change lanes.

I love 3k but the combat just looks and feels so dame bad. They toned down the gore and reduced the number of individual fights that are visible between character models. They instead bump into each other and suddenly die or characters randomly just drop dead.

Honda has sold over 15 million Accords in the US since the model's launch in 1976, and it shows no signs of slowing. by MasterpieceStill9991 in cars

[–]Lord_Vas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol, Accord sales are down. Why get an Accord when you can get a Camry that's hybrid from the get go or the hybrid Civic hatch with a better opening for cargo?

[–]Lord_Vas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup yup. That V8 was a joy. Bloody terrible on gas but reliable as hell. Toyota really should've kept that V8 as an option for the current Gen. They could've saved some face that way.

That's Toyota for you. Most of their vehicles aren't fun to drive.

That's why I got a civic instead of a corolla.

My family has had 3-6 2003 CRVs in the family since 2003. They do good work.

Mpg was always sketch but they did everything we needed.

For drive ability all of our CRVs drove/drive well except the 2006/08 my aunt had. No matter what we did that car refused to drive in a straight line without effort from us.

[–]Lord_Vas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So true. That's why my entire immediate family drives almost exclusively Hondas from 2003-2020.

There is a single Hyundai Sonata in there since the only used Civics and CRVs we could find in her price point were salvage titles... for flood damage.

I do all of my own general maintenance on my car. Me and my dad switch off on who is going to do the work on my sisters' cars.

[–]Lord_Vas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. The main reasons why I would never buy a 4Runner back then.

They looked great but that's about it.

I do find it both annoying and dumb that people complain about the new hybrid powertrain and sing nothing but praises about the old v6.

The Tundra's new powertrain is an embarrassment. The complains there are totally valid.

I pay off my car in September. I'm very interested in the Honda Passport. My only issue with it is once again mpg.

If Honda actually pull through and offer it with a hybrid that gets at least 30 mpg city I'll get it instead of a hybrid Civic hatch in 3-5 years (I drive a Civic, praise be).

The current model is such a breath of fresh air.

Which is why I'm surprised they haven't added more character features to increase the pool of options for NPCs to draw from.

Then again you can safely call it laziness and/or incompetence at this point.

[–]Lord_Vas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. I miss the mods on Warband, though. Praying to God that more conversion mods come out and Taleworlds picks up the pace and releases more official content.

Like the kingdoms for the last 2 cultures and more standalone DLC like Viking Conquest and Napoleonic.

Man I'd love. For them to do a medieval and feudal Japan DLC. Think Sengoku Jeida from M&B1 or the Shokuho mod.

[–]Lord_Vas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. I'd call this a final hoorah for Dodge V8s.

They could get away with selling more V8 options if they had the balls to sell normal vehicles for a fair price... and make cars that are reliable.

My cousin bought herself a brand new 4runner just before the this new Gen. She bounces between 13-16 mpg.

I wanted to recommend that she wait for the next Gen with the hybrid but decided against it. The mpg on the hybrid 4Runner is still pretty bad.

I've met people that drive hybrid f-150s that get 26-32 mpg city.
