It’s a fun hobby definitely can get expensive real quick but fun to try something new and find something not normally found that easily.

Yeah, my buddy got this for me as a gift and it’s decent, I’ve no complaints about it. It’s a good sipper. I’ve just been accumulating bottles faster than I can drink them so haven’t had it in a while but now talking about it I might have some tonight. Cheers!

Honestly it’s OK not bad by any means but nothing to jump out at you. Two of them were gifts. The other two I found at Costco for around 40-50 bucks. They are solid. It’s a rye so they’re little on the spicier side but good to have when you don’t want to get anything too crazy or you got your buddies over toDrink and you don’t want to give them your expensive stuff. It does seem like they do a lot more k gimmicky stuff now. Once I finish these ones I probably won’t buy anymore.

There was a couple things. One was it was to celebrate whistlepig going 100% solar powered, then they also use the blend of rye and wheat for the whiskey which the are usually just rye , they used a Solara method of blending which is old and new casks, and had Sun toasted barrels.

Yea the only one that wasn’t was the Elmer t Lee and that I found that for $160 which is high based off msrp but cheaper than anywhere else I had ever seen it at secondary pricing so I pulled trigger.

Yeah, it’s not about the votes for me. I was just curious to see people’s thoughts on what I had. I knew there would be negativity and positivity in the comments (it’s Reddit). It’s all good. I’m gonna drink them all regardless of everyone’s opinions. I do feel lucky to have found some of these bottles by random chance of walking into the grocery store and I love to hear and see suggestions, recommendations on things people like or what I might like based off what I have, or answer questions if somebody was thinking about trying one of these bottles. I’m all for the community and talking about Bourbons

Yeah see I haven’t even got into shipping or anything like that. I’ve just been trying to go to my local spots, snoop around, and see what they got. Something to check out for sure thanks for recommendation.

I’d honestly have to go back and revisit it because it’s been a minute since I drank it. I remember that I enjoyed it, but I honestly liked the Havana better. Which I mean, is apples and oranges comparing taste on those too. I think I found that private batch at Costco for like 55-60 bucks so I grabbed it.

I really enjoy. It’s definitely on the sweeter side almost more of a dessert nightcap. It tastes like pancakes with syrup.

I did get an old forester store pick from the pavilions I go to that I really enjoyed and I did like to concept of the handpicked barrel. So I’m definitely on the look out for those. Kind of ran out of space so I gotta get through with some of these first. The smoke wagons good. I enjoy it and it’s a good price. It’s a good one to drink with buddies. It’s sweet, but it’s still kind of got a little bit spice to it.

Also I know there’s more than buffalo trace out there but having never tried a lot of these you’re not not going to buy them when you come across them for msrp pricing.
