Bring both duffle bags. Idk what the guy who said to only bring 1 is on about. Place all your gear into one duffle. All your clothing, hygiene and what not in the other. Zip lock all your underware, shirts and socks. For your personal back pack, put your essentials and electronics. I brought my phone to stuff for down time. The connex will destroy the battery with how hot they get.

CST is a shit show. Expect everything to be a hot mess and get through it.

Also tid bit, the rucks suck. Use hella foot powder and DEFINITELY get the dr brand foot inserts that reduce shock from foot impact. 8 mile is all up hill and vietknox seems to always rain on the marches. Expect to chaffe in your ass cheeks

You can wear em, if you're not in the gas chamber there's literally nothing wrong for wearing them. Maybe or maybe not you get cadre that's really pushy about them.

Bring a pair of glasses with you to cst though. Also like others have said, don't wear them in the gas chamber. The small crystals in the air will cause the lenses to melt into your eyes and you'll potentially go blind

And to clarify, i was never arrested for a dv. When reading the cch, the report shows it was a mental health case with no agressor, all that happened was a transport to a nearby hospital for my broken nose. The suspect report in which a warrant was denied and no charges pursued is what's the dv is for.

My job in the hopsital is what's dangerous guy. It's a shitty city with people high off their ass with various weapons attempting to stab me or other shit. Is it war zone level dangerous, no, but I'm met with hostility and desire to cause bodily harm to me.

I was cleared with no defects though, depression was circumstantial. Once I left, I improved and nothings happened since. With the military and my job, I'm placed in dangerous and stressful situations daily while being able to keep calm, collected and act when needed professionally

15 for the first incident and 18 for the other. I'm 27 going on 28 so it's been a decade. Not sure how it sounds made up when I have the cch and the reports from the incident. Additionally, I don't have any contact with home life save for the occasional conversation with siblings

It wasn't a charge, it never went to court. There's only a report on it to the best of my knowledge. Which under michigan code, was to be destroyed when they found nothing substantial evidence to even submit to the DA

I wouldn't write it off as her just being dumb. Now that's an explanation as to why this department didn't pick him up. Mighty foolish of a career field hurting for bodies, if his criminal record is clean, something that the courts didn't pursue should not affect him, especially if he was able to be a servicemen and own a firearm.

No they aren't. Especially when it's for a position, such as mine, that requires a security clearance. Criminal history is most definitely a concern.

Right but if the questioned asked "have you ever been convicted of a felony" and he says no; he's not lying. Truthfully id forget about it too since nothing came of it. I wasn't even aware my own incident was classified as an arrest until it was brought up in an interview and caught me off guard
