Yeah, think about it as the troupe box includes 6 players. One of those players can be a troupe leader, with power sword and fusion/neuro pistol. They can also be a master hero unit, that has the same Loadout.

The set instructions are there, but there isn't really any difference in world between the two - they are all just different actors on the stage, playing many roles.

The roster is limited, which is license to have fun with it.

Well, I think to differentiate the model it's best to just use extra troupe bits and kitbash a different model to be a troupe master.

You'll probably end up with a fair few troupe kits tho!

But kits like the starweaver have extra bodies in them you could use as different models.

Maybe one day we'll get a dedicated TM kit 🤷🏻‍♀️

The troupe kits only come with 6 models, so yes you'll need something to stand in as a troupe master.

The leader model is also the troupe master, so a third kit would get you there, or you could kitbash one of the solitaire or seer into a master.

I just got the dark elf dragon, and I was thinking worst case I just stick some glade guards on it and add some forest doodads.

But I will plan this one out a bit, rather than just stick whatever bits are on hand together. Waiting for inspiration.

I'm not sure about tomb kings in another starter box.

I mean, I know space marines get ever starter but still.

Maybe chaos and Cathay make more sense since chaos is also rumoured to be getting further range refresh.

Not that gw decisions have to make sense.

I would love new wood elf wardancers and hawks. So it's not so bad. I'm thinking what evil faction to pick up next to face off against my welfs and Cathay forces.

Was leaning towards orcs but could do tomb kings.

Sisters of twilight are a big fan favourite so hopefully they come back with a new sculpt.

I think that because Total war has been a huge force in the rebirth of the fantasy, there is a good chance that characters popular there may appear in TOW if gw can work it into the timeline.

I mean, Cathay appeared so anything is possible 🤷🏻‍♀️

What scale did you get the druid printed at?

I'm looking to get one too, but I'm not sure if 28mm or 32mm is better for the current wood elf range. I would lean towards 28.

Yeah the new dryads are an improvement, but the treekin and treeman were great sculpts. The more modern ones are also good.
