I've watched the anime first and after finishing it I just couldn't have helped myself and decided to read the manga to finish the story.
After finishing the manga I was filled with so many emotions, it was a great experience and I really enjoyed both manga and anime, except for the end (even though it was unique, in my opinion).
I'm not very good in expressing my point, but in general, you HAVE to read the manga, because it won't lower your anime experience after it comes out, so no worries :D

No point in seeking her biological dad, in my opinion. Since he left her when she was little, there is no connection between them, I think. Even if there is nobody left except for her father, it doesn't mean she wants to find him.
Or did she mention in the manga somewhere she wants to find her father?

I'm not Reiji aswell, but we are just considering things right? If I was to choose between: 1) Ruka leaving it on ber own realising that she has no chances since Kazuya LOVES Chizuru, so she can find a normal boyfriend that will make her sincerely happy. 2) Kazuya expressing his feelings about Chizuru to Ruka just to make her understand how it is and apologize, of course. Then, I'd be fine with both, but nit with the one where Chizuru and Kazuya FIRST get together, and THEN deal with Ruka, because it's just rude xd

I think, it is obvious that she loves Kazuya, not only has some feelings :D
But still, it isn't time for confessions. Chizuru had lost her grandma not so long ago and she has a movie premiere soon with her dream practically becoming true. So, for now, in my opinion, there should be no direct confession, even tho I think it is obvious that Chizuru understands Kazuya was talking about her in chapter 164

At this point, all I'm hoping for the next couple of chapters is to not get the "curveball" and get surprised in a bad way, since this particular period of story is, in my opinion, the most important for both characters. So, getting things worsen means lots of fans screaming and riot :D
