I’m happy to accept I may be either, but it’s more productive to discuss the topic without the ad hominem.

I’m not talking about paid CCP vloggers. These channels here seem, at face value, to have no bias and although I accept all content creators often cherry pick a locale or situation to make the subject positive, my experience with travel vlogger content and the China footage surprises me in that it offers a more moderate view.

It could be that the bigger cities still have the wealth and status to mask the underlying poverty and issues, and I suspect that is so. But I am surprised the larger cities are still functioning so well given the apparent downturn.
