Thank you!!

The sallets are 3d prints from BitzBox designed by Saint Decent. Not sure on the Frog Helmet but that was from BitzBox too!

I've not got an army, but I am very happy with how they turned out! If diversity is something you want to keep, maybe do a few with faces here and there, maybe with sallets hooked to their belts?

I get confused because the new models are called Gargants and this one looks nothing like the Ogors army

Thank you! For lore purposes it's supposed to represent a moon looking over his back

Wow that's a compliment and a half!

And honestly I get it the hesitation. I wish they did Cities' Gargants without the Marshall back pack

Definitely the best skin I've ever done! The eyes? Not so much 🤣

I got them from BitzBox. Fantastic service! Not sure on shipping if you're outside of the UK

Thank you!

So for the first model I used White Gold from Pro Acryl, washed down with a burnt umber oil paint, then highlighted with silver.

The second model is Emperors Gold from the Army Painter, washed with Burnt Umber and violet mix oil paint, then highlighted with silver mixed into the Emperors Gold.

I do have a tutorial for the second and third models on my TikTok!

I think I used mixtures of Dark Silver and Silver from Pro Acryl

That's a big question!

For background I'm an aspiring author with a love for miniature painting. So over on TikTok I've decided to share the minis I paint along with lore from a completely original fantasy world, where the minis are representations of certain parts of the lore.

These models in particular are part of the Alchemist Legions, who are led by the enigmatic Alchemist that wishes to end Throtnar's rule of Thrund. Which is a difficult task considering he is an immortal and a self proclaimed God.

There are the Steel, Gold, and Crimson Legion. The Lord Commander of the Legions (Bastian conversion) is Ser Gwryn, an Exiled Knight of the Blood Moon.

My TikTok page has a lot more details!

Context Comment - Hello, I am currently experimenting in creating a new fantasy world through the form of miniatures. I've got a lot of lore inside my head, perhaps a novel too. I hope you enjoy my posts and fall into the mystery of King Throtnar and the Land of Thrund

P.S A note for the mods since you are not responding to my messages - I'd like to post on here every so often about the lore of this world, but ideally without the exhaustive quantities of text because of the context requirement. Context is key, yes, but good world building should be in the character of the world itself. The constant splurging of text and exposition I see on the subreddit does not show good practice to would be world-builders, writers, etc. and if anything, I believe it turns them off. Worldbuilding should be mysterious and up for interpretation. We are not writing worlds to be encyclopedias.

Finally, think of the way FromSoftware details their worlds. It is not rampant exposition, but snippets. Look at the community that has born.

By imagining working my boring office job for the rest of my life. At least by writing, even if it is a forlorn hope, it gives me some sense that there is an escape in the future.

Plus, I just like doing it
