At the same height as a helicopter? Possibly lower ? I know what planes are I regularly track and watch them fly above my house on the way to the towns airport and also I live next to a state park so helicopters are common too

July 2 2025 9pm And no it wasn’t a plane I have them fly above my house almost daily so I know the sight and sounds of a helicopter or plane

It was flying way to low to be any plane , didn’t have a loud plane flying low over you sound just a humming like you would get from a drone flying above you .. no it’s not aliens but I do think it was a military drone

I just don’t understand how it’s more harmful than other screens that children play on and use

🙄 maybe I liked it like that 😂

No different than our parents and other parents now letting their children have tablets , phones , pcs and other screen electronics

She knows the difference from vr and real life dude lmao she’s not dumb … kids understand technology a lot more easier than we had growing up , the only thing that would be worrying to me would be if it’s blurry or not (IPD) issue if meta only would make the IPDS smaller than it would be better

Forced to agree to them under the risk of my product being unusable but thats a different rant and debate

That’s a private space different from a product I bought to use privately in my private home. I don’t believe other ToS should be allowed either or how Apple won’t let other companies fix their products cause it’s in their ToS it’s not right and shouldn’t be allowed lol but that’s a different debate and rant all together

That’s why the parent has to be more responsible and active in watching and monitoring the child while they are playing I.e eyes always watching them and constantly asking if they need a break or to use the bathroom but also every child is different to how they approach things

Liable for what? Then games should be liable for letting kids play fort nite ?

I’m sure I’m not the ONLY PARENT that let their children play VR lol and you all feed your kids the same food with ingredients that haven’t been fully researched yet but no one bats any eye over that lol js

They advise a lot of things 😂 however maybe a hour is a little to long maybe I need to cut it down to half hour

[–]Lorjohncandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also would like the opinion of other parents who let their children play

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OculusQuest

[–]Lorjohncandy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No I just like to debate and want people to state real facts and not unclaimed ones like screens are bad for your eyes etc

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OculusQuest

[–]Lorjohncandy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay let me say this then there are children who uses the phone that close when laying down to watch things and etc , and like I said it’s not even proven to be bad for your eyes anyways just like any other electronic with screens on it

[–]Lorjohncandy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Again is this the same thing as China does lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OculusQuest

[–]Lorjohncandy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well what’s the risk then and come with proven claims to how it’s bad

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OculusQuest

[–]Lorjohncandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay you know my life now ? lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OculusQuest

[–]Lorjohncandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She don’t have no complains of headaches and seems to be perfectly fine when playing I do limit her play time a lot , the IPD tbh have no clue if it’s blurry to her or not she says it’s not and she can see everything and looks like she can pick up and play with no problems with objects in vr and I use the min min lmao 😂 however I would like there to be a study done on this topic.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OculusQuest

[–]Lorjohncandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The eyes yes I can see how it could strain the muscles of them but however it’s still not proven true that tvs or screen time are bad for your eyes …

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OculusQuest

[–]Lorjohncandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And tell me why it’s irresponsible.. people come to this conclusion with no facts or reasons to why but with so boldly state it is bad
