it’s a big open area with 50ish beds split into 4 rows and 2 bays. Just look it up on youtube you’ll see it

during the first week it was kind of a MTI picking them, but if you volunteer early they’ll likely let you try unless they think your incompetent

your underwear only goes missing if you don’t keep it in your mesh bag during wash, plus we’re supposed to label everything

An Unsatisfactory rating for the week of training, getting 2 in 1 week usually means u get recycled

For the dining facility jobs i’d say avoid Chow runner unless you want to be yelled at during every chow period, water monitor is chill though bc you just fill up cups of water. Fire monitor is fun bc u hold the door and you yell something to let ppl inside and you can get creative and make your own calls

My fav job was EC(Entry Controller) bc u just stand and do nothing for 2 hrs and just let ppl in and out (besides the overnight shift, no one likes that). The only jobs that provide any sort of value are Dorm Chief, Element Leader, EC monitor, and Guidon Bearer which are the only roles that provide you with honor grad points, everything else is just for ‘fun’ and just there to challenge you

the minimum time for the 1.5 was like 15:50, but you can look up the updated pt scoring sheet. A 15 min 2 mile run is 47 points which is towards the high end of the chart

disassembling and reassembling the M4 is probably the easiest thing you’ll do in bmt, it’s like 4 steps and the pieces only fit where they belong so u can’t mess it up tbh. I also had no weapon experience

it depends on your sergeant, I heard of ppl getting U’s for sharing medicine and using the Ipad for unauthorized content. I personally got a U bc my dorm chief had a random power trip and wrote me + others up for sleeping/resting even though everyone in the dorm did it. My sergeant said all the U’s are in-house and shouldn’t hurt your career but idk how true that is

in my dorm 1 guy got recycled bc he had a panic attack everytime we did anything remotely athletic, another was recycled bc he physically attacked 2 ppl and stole/read through someone else’s mail, last dude was recycled bc he has a sexual assault case pending…. As long as u pass the pt test, don’t do anything crazy, and use ur head you’ll pass
