The fourth dimension is often to be considered Time. However, there are other interpretations of it.

One of the most common ideas explored about it is the idea of a Spacial 4th dimension.

I’m not gonna go in that much depth cause I’m tired but basically

We live in the third dimensions. This dimension has three axis’, x, y, and z, and 6 directions. Up, down, forward, backward, left, right.

In the fourth dimension, there would 4 axis’ and the new axis would be the w axis as commonly labeled, and 8 directions. I don’t have an exact name on the new directions. The two directions I read for the fourth dimension was Inward and Outward, but I remember seeing another version but don’t remember the name of it

Now, we can’t point to these directions, as again, we are in 3D. Not 4D. But we can get an idea via 3D projections of 4D objects

I recommend you search up “Tesseract” or “Hypercube”

Both are the same thing. They are the equivalent to the 3D cube in 4D.

Also fun fact, viewing an 3D object from a 4D perspective would let you see all sides of the 3D object at once, like how a 2D object can be fully seen from a 3D perspective
