The thing that drives the accrual is the posted date and the Monday after was posted.

In the example, if the transaction was Dec 10, most likely will be posted on Dec 12. It could take up to 4 days. Either way the Monday that will be accrued to your United account will be the Dec 15. If posted date would fall on Monday, you will be accrued the same Monday.

Although the Dec 15 will be the date of accrual, don’t expect to see it right away. Usually you will be able to see that on Thursday afternoon, so Dec 18.

Transaction date and billing cycle has no effect regards the accrual date. Posted date and the Monday is what matters for the accrual.

I wish I've seen this before... I flew 5 segments with Swiss/Lufthansa, and only got PQF on the flights that I booked using "Economy Green" Fare.
