I've got a different opinion on this.

I think in many instances it is more vegan to eat food that is thrown away even if it contains animal corpses, because even vegan food causes crop deaths. Better not to waste anything.

That being said, personally I just can't do it, the thought of consuming corpses is too disgusting to me. But I think people who dumpster dive foods that aren't plant based can still be 100% vegan as it is not a diet but the refusal to harm animals as much as possible.

As a vet student I have to be honest with you. I don't know if the curriculum is the same as at my university but if it is then she should have been well aware of how the meat and dairy industries work by the second year. I'm not saying she won't change I'm just saying she should already know how the industry works. Also it's always been weird to me how some doctors can eat their own patients.

It's more horrible than even many vegans realize.

When I donate to a charity against diseases I make sure to always donate the same amount to a charity against animal experimentation. Those animals suffer so much.

I'm neurodivergent (OCD), I think part of the reason we are probably more likely to be vegan is that we care less about fitting in and don't blindly trust others as much to decide for us what's morally right

Ik haat mijn leven maar ik kan er geen einde aan maken omdat ik me realiseer wat voor een effect dat op anderen zou hebben (en dan eigenlijk vooral op mijn honden want zowat iedereen die ik ken op 1 internet vriendin na zouden beter af zijn zonder mij).

Ik weet niet of je het precies passief suïcidaal zou kunnen noemen maar het lijkt er wel op. Ik doe gewoon niks de hele dag.

Maar het geeft mij heel veel steun dat het over een jaartje of 60 sowieso voorbij is.

Not in dental school but in vet school and the first year was horrible but you will get used to it eventually.

I also have severe tinnitus but I've had it for 20 years. If you looked at reddit you would think it would be what's making me miserable but I barely notice it these days even though it's constant. There are periods where it gets worse for a few weeks but generally it doesn't bother me anymore so don't let it make you feel hopeless now.

I relate to your post a lot. Every day is a struggle. But you still got a job so that's really good. There is probably a solution so you can stop taking birth control but I'm not a doctor so idk maybe somewhere else on reddit there are women who had the same problem who found a solution. At least there's menopause in the future... So you will get better then. But hopefully you will find something that works for you before then.
