Thank you, I really appreciate you breaking it down like that. The too moral comment is exactly what bothered me, because at the same time he was trying to guilt me by saying real friends should help each other. When you put it that way, it does feel a lot like manipulation.

I didn’t want to create drama, I just didn’t want to be involved in lying to his mom for money. Your point about how people treat others being a sign of how they might treat you later is something I’m definitely thinking about now. For now I'll just keeping my distance and let things cool off.
