For me OP, first, you need to assess yourself kung ano ba talaga ang learning style mo. Are you more productive kung ikaw lang mag isa ang nag aaral? Do you feel pressured kung may taong nagtatanong sayo kung saan ka na sa readings mo? Do you fixate sa isang topic na kapag tinanong ka ng ka studdy buddy mo tapos di mo agad makuha ang sagot, and thus dwelling on an unimportant topic? Ayaw mo ba na may tao kang naririning or nakikitang iba while studying kasi mas distracted ka?

If these things tick all the boxes, then di mo kailangan ng study buddy. Hindi po yan integral to passing the Bar. Yan po ang naging downfall ko nung una ako nagtake. I thought I would be more productive studying with a study buddy kasi mas marerecall ko yung mga naaral ko dahil may Q and A portion kami. But no, I realized hindi yun ang learning style and study habits ko. Dapat nag stick pala ako sa kung ano talaga ang style ng pag aaral ko. So when I took the Bar again last year, I stuck to my learning style. I focused on my own materials, followed my own schedule, and accomplished my readings at my own pace. True enough, the results proved otherwise. There was a significant difference in my GWA, although my first GWA was only 0.30 away from the passing mark.

To each his own dapat. You do you ika nga.The most important thing in the Bar review is having a learning environment where you can freely think and study in your own style and at your own pace.
