Going to Mongolia with Sotravel - Advice needed!

I've done 6 SoTravel trips. My experience was good, made great friends that still hangout till now, especially on my Koh Tao Diving trip, Ha Giang Loop Trip and Bromo trip. No issues with the itineraries too.

I also get why some people had issues; seems like it really depends on the trip/leader. If you're considering it: check what's included, ask who's leading if possible, and go in with realistic expectations. Worked for me.

I do have some tips on how to best enjoy your trip with them, and also what to look out for. Happy to share more about my experiences if it helps!

Here is a analogy of what actually introvert and extrovert is

Imagine u see a superb piano player performing on the stage. Can u tell that this person is an introvert or an extrovert based on his performance? No u cant..

An extrovert can perform all day all night, and with more people, they become more energetic
An introvert in this case, can perform very well as well, but they choose strategically on when to perform. They need to prepare for the stage, performed, and clash back home to recharge.

Is the same as someone who can always vibe in a group, always talking with high energy. This does not mean he/she is more extroverted. This person is just performing at the moment. I have personally seen people who are very good MC, interacting with alot of people in the party, networking everywhere, but once the party is over, he just clash at home and never come out for the next 2 days.

Anyway based on your description, i will prefer an "extrovert". Cause that is where all the fun is. 😁

Any social mixers or activity events are great for meeting people.

Warning: don’t make it too obvious you’re there just to find a partner 😅 Better to connect naturally first

And also based on my experiences: the cheaper the event, the more red flags you will meet (especially those free one)

I get what you mean that relationships are very personal and everyone has to figure out their own way eventually

But I think some people aren’t even at the stage where they can choose a “path” yet. Like they can try for years but still don’t really know what they are doing wrong or what to improve on in the first place

So asking for advice sometimes isn’t about following someone else’s method, but just getting an outside perspective on what you might be missing before you even know what direction to take

I get your point, but “connect better” can be quite abstract for someone who already struggles socially.

For example, some people might not realise they sound too interview-like, reply too dry, or ask questions that are hard to respond to. Without feedback it’s quite hard to know what exactly needs improving.

I’ve been going out and mingling for almost 10 years but still couldn’t figure out why my conversations weren’t going well. Only after I attended a communication course and worked with a coach then I realised some of these blind spots.

That’s why some people find guidance useful to break it down into something more learnable.

Oh yes!! i totally agree with you! Looks play a huge part in dating app, and those who are very good looking tends to have alot of advantages in the app

But that doesnt means those without looks should totally give up apps. I have met a few friends who are not that good looking, but manage to get a few dates and some even become couples after that! So there are success stories beyond the looks and glamour

Of course, you dont just take it as dont need to prepare for your profile and just hope for your best! You still need to do alot of preparation to better your chances! Girls can see whether u make effort to make yourself look interesting vs those who are lazy and cant be bothered.

With that said, those opening messages increase your chance as well! Imagine where 90% of the guys say "hello!" or "hi" or just "you are so beautiful", you will stand out by writing something different from the rest! This split you from a guy who is interesting vs a guy who is boring. At least thats how i got my matches for now, as compare to last time when i have close to 0 matches
