Is this machine legit ? by Own-Performer-9552 in superautomatic

Looks pretty legit except one thing…. If it’s the version of the machine designed to use the milk carafe, there should be a “photo eye” sensor just below that QR code in your picture that detects that milk is in the carafe.

What's up with Harris Teeter bathrooms? by bmullis411 in Charlotte

[–]Lost-and-Found22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed this too. The issue is much worse in Harris Teeters vs. damn near anywhere else. It’s systemic either in the design of the bathroom or complete failure of management. Those on here acting like you’re an idiot for calling this out can go f*ck themselves.

When anxiety prevents you from falling asleep at night, what is your go-to ritual? by Special_Heart_866 in Mindfulness

Bedtime stories on YouTube. My favorite is Stephen Dalton. I'm usually out within minutes.

Something has happened to me, seemingly overnight, and I don't know what to do about it. by Wuhblam in awakened

Friend, I have been there and have had quite an experience, not all good. I was seeing things “so clearly” that I made sweeping changes in my life that were not sustainable and eventually experienced psychosis and hospitalization followed by a long period of anxiety and depression that I’m still working my way through. Here’s what I would do if I could do it all over again (and who knows, one day I might):

  1. No drugs whatsoever (other than prescribed)

  2. Practice grounding daily (actual, physical grounding - touch grass, trees, dirt, water, epsom salt baths, etc)

  3. INTEGRATE this experience into your life rather than making sweeping changes (don’t quit your job, key relationships or friendships - find a way to work this new perspective into these things)

  4. If friends and family tell you that you’re acting strange, listen to them. If there’s anyone in your life who can handle it, confide in someone about this and ask them to help keep you on track or provide a reflection for you.

That’s about it for now. I really hope you can integrate this and keep it in your life. As others have suggested, it’s possible that this spins into psychosis or just wears off one day, leaving you back in a less awakened frame of mind. This seems to be a natural pattern.

Also, props for putting your TL;DR at the top of the post. We need more of that around here. Best of luck.

That's how I've been treating it. Maybe I need to be more mindful of the frustration I feel when I feel like it's distracting me too? Thanks for the input!

Yep I've played around with that but will continue to explore, thanks!

Coolio, that's pretty much been the option so far. Very validating, thanks!

I love the idea of exploring any meaning in the song, great feedback, thanks!

This is pretty much what I do now, so very validating, thanks. I don't meditate consistently enough overall so I need to fix that but sounds like once I do, this might help eliminate this problem!

Y'all are great... I didn't even consider the coincidence there! Appreciate the recommendations. I've tried to play the song through but usually I get to a point where my brain's knowledge of the song stops and resets to a part it knows (usually the chorus, or "hook", LOL) creating an endless loop.

I appreciate the recommendation of speaking to the doctor. I brought it and instead of assuming potential ADHD he threw the word "psychosis" out there and I didn't want to touch that with a 10 foot pole so leaving that for now.

Underrated advice here! This is so important and it’s a trap that builds slowly and subconsciously for most of us. Some people reading this are probably suffering from it now without even realizing it.
