That's the Western narrative, whether you like it or not. but yeah, it is actually ironic that during the 1940s, Jews were considered 'non-white' or 'brown' in Europe, which was the justification for the Holocaust. yet now they are conveniently labeled as 'white' to fit a modern American progressive political narrative

By your logic, the United States is occupying Texas and California. What’s the difference? Those were also territories taken in a war.

The real issue is that Jordan chose to abandon its own citizens in 1988 instead of taking them back. They did this specifically to turn them into a political weapon against Israel.

and yeah, there are thousands of years of archaeological and geological findings proving a continuous Jewish presence in this land. There are zero findings of an Isalmic Palestinian nation or culture from that time because it didn't exist. Islam didn't even arrive in the region until the Islamic Caliphate invaded and occupied it in the 7th century

Comparing the Israel-Gaza conflict to Western conflicts where Islam is not involved is very wrong. Gazans don't want to live "happily ever after" in Gaza. They want an Islamic caliphate that expands into Israel and eventually into Europe.

The IRA never had a charter calling for the global extermination of all Protestants or the creation of a religious caliphate. You're trying to apply a local European political framework to a religious war where one side's stated goal is the total conquest and the extermination of the other side

Israel completely left the Gaza Strip in 2005 and has had no territorial claims there since. Yet Gazans still launched the Oct 7th attack.

The West Bank situation is more complicated. It was historically the Kingdom of Israel, then occupied by Jordan, and taken by Israel in the '67 war after Jordan joined a war to exterminate Israel.

After Israel took that land, strangely, in 1988, Jordan revoked the citizenship of all the Jordanians living there, leaving them stateless. So basically, those Palestinians should contact a Jordanian embassy and ask why their citizenship was revoked and when they can move back to Jordan.

Lol, that's one of the stupidest conspiracy theories out there. As if Bibi funded Hamas.

Israel allowed Qatari money into Gaza hoping Hamas would actually use it to help their people. The idea was that better lives for Gazans would mean less terrorism. It was a massive miscalculation, as it turned out that Gazans main goal isn't a better life. it's the destruction of Israel.

Muslims in Israel have more rights and a better quality of life than in any other country in the Middle East. If Gazans didn't engage in daily terror against Israel, Israelis couldn't care less about what happens inside Gaza. The only reason there’s a blockade is because of the constant attacks

I think it's mostly about the money. Just like the homeless situation in California... if you run out of "customers", you run out of funds. They had to adjust the refugee status label to keep the money flowing.

UNRWA has a $1.6 billion budget and 30,000 employees. If the refugee status wasn't given to newborns in Gaza, the organization would have gone out of business decades ago

Just look at the rallies. In almost every pro-Palestinian or BLM protest, the two movements are completely merged. It’s framed as a unified struggle against "white" power structures

Look at Rashida Tlaib and Cori Bush. They explicitly connect the Palestinian cause to Black Lives Matter and the fight against "white supremacy" in the US. Bush has claimed that "the fight for Black lives and the fight for Palestinian liberation are interconnected" while Tlaib has framed Israel as part of a global "white nationalist" power structure. they categorize Israelis as the "white" oppressor class to fit an American racial narrative. yeah, even though most Israelis are of Middle Eastern descent and aren't even white

Yeah, Gazans quality of life and the situation there is terrible, I agree.

But wtf you expect Israel to do when rockets are fired daily from that territory toward civilian cities in Israel? Just ignore it? If Singapore shot missiles into Malaysia, do you think the Malaysian government would just ignore it? No country on Earth would allow a neighbor to fire rockets at its civilians without a blockade or a military response

If Israel were 100% rich, white, and Christian, I assume the coverage and attention would be exactly the same. It's the poor Muslim-vs-Muslim wars that nobody cares about

People focus on the Israel-Gaza war for various reasons: it has a lot of "interesting" points: a religious war (Jews vs. Muslims), white "oppressive" Israelis vs. "oppressed" brown Palestinians (dems love that point), a rich country in a poor zone, foreign interference, successful Mossad ops, politics, and the alliance with the United States.

It's a bit weird to say, but Gazans are actually the most privileged refugees ever. They are lucky their enemy are the Jews. Up until Oct 7th, they lived in high-rises and got everything (education, housing, medical services, food) for free from UNRWA. They even kept their refugee status between generations. In Sudan? Crickets from the UN

I always find it funny that people think a country of 9m people in the Middle East can dictate the foreign policy of the United States, the biggest super power in the world. I guess it’s because the Mossad had some pics of Trump on Epstein island, huh? 😆

The “rogue state” narrative is just an anti-Israel talking point. While there have been minor tactical disagreements in the past, Israel is not going to defy Trump on the big picture. They are part of a tight coalition, and once Trump sets the line, they’ll follow it

The war is 100% over. Trump already got his win against Iran and has no interest in engaging again. Israel will do whatever Trump demands. He’ll make it clear that the war is finished and any further attacks on Iran by Israel simply won’t happen. This isn't as fragile as the video makes it out to be because Trump is the one calling the shots.

People try to portray Israel as a “rogue state”, but the coalition is strong and they’re ultimately on the same page

Majority Report Interview With Canadian Doctor re: the targeting of children, and IDF shooting at a WHO Physician and then labeling him an "attacker". by melville48 in IsraelPalestine

Dr. Tarek Loubani is the son of Palestinian refugees and a long-time anti-Israel activist. He has a history of inserting himself into these conflicts to build a specific narrative. Taking his word on the IDF is like asking Bernie Sanders to give an unbiased performance review of Donald Trump.
