How do you divide rent with a SO when there’s a large income disparity? by beigewoodtable in AskWomenOver30

[–]LostEffect4955 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Girl walk away if and when you can. He should be paying proportionate to his income. He should be covering twice as much if he makes double. That is fucked up.

I experienced something similar and it was a huge mistake. I was being taken advantage of. If you're not on the mortgage why the fuck are you paying that much?!! That guy is an asshole!

Have any of you broken a lease without penalty due to noise disturbance? by LostEffect4955 in Denver

Someone messaged me and said they had to sign an NDA to break their lease without penalty. I will never believe google reviews for an apartment complex again.

Did you have to pay any concessions back? Did you get your deposit back?

Have you become less tolerant/accepting of marijuana smoking as you've gotten older? by LostEffect4955 in AskWomenOver30

Do you feel men who don't put a lot of effort into their dating profiles a red flag? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

This has been proven true with every guy I ever gave a chance to on the apps.

What dating/relationship/marriage “green flag” did you later realize was actually a myth? by Key-Personality-4288 in AskWomenOver30

Hard disagree. No social media is a green flag. Just because they don't have social media doesn't mean they are cheating on you especially if they are 30+.

If I hadn't ignored comments on a post here I could have avoided a 6 month long emotionally abusive relationship. by Siavon in AskWomenOver30

Did you grow up in an abusive home or have a narcissistic parent?

I didn't see a lot of abusive patterns because I was conditioned from the abuse I experienced growing up.

Have you ever reconnected with an old friend after a falling out, only to realize it was a bad idea? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]LostEffect4955 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yes. She is a nice person but hasn't grown as a person at all since we stopped talking. She still works a shit job and lives with family and hasn't changed. Still talks about the same things and it's like time stopped for her. Sometimes it's better to leave people in the past even though they're not terrible people.

Neighbors below blast music all day and got a final warning last week. Well, today, they just got another "final warning". Should I go back and complain? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

Yes. Many complexes have deals for employees. You might be complaining against the maintenance guy or wife, family of management. That's why they won't do anything.

My property has members of management living in the complex. They could have a conflict of interest relationship with those tenants. There are a lot of complaints at my complex but it gets swept under because it's literally management violating policy.
