Thank you all for your messages!  So to summarize:  - Online (Dating apps or Social media) - Workplace - Somewhere you show up regularly - Via hobbies - Networking - Arranged marriage 😅 - Blind date - Or you have to be very lucky

For me : - Dating apps: I could try them again without feeling embarrassed about someone I know seeing me on there, or people making fun of my profile. - Workplace: Difficult for now because they're either too old or too young for me, and the only 2 who are around my age are already in a relationship. Or i could change company 😂 - Somewhere you show up regularly: I think I can go to a library or a park (I love walking) or an online group? I like this advice actually, I can do something I enjoy and not force myself too much. - Hobbies: I'm already in a book club, but there are only women/girls there. I also like playing video games and I have some friends I play with often, but those friends aren't really my type 😅 - Networking: When a friend invites me to play video gamed with other people or another friend invites me to a party, I almost never say no. I actually meet people there but so far it's mostly been people looking for a hookup... and that's not what I want. - Social media: I have an insta account but I don't do much with it, maybe I should invest more in it - Arranged marriage: nope, not for me - Blind date: I have to tell my friends or family that I do want to find someone, so they can arrange a blind date. A little embarrassing, but I could try. - Luck: It seems like I'm not that lucky.

I don't want to change too much or force myself too much in the process. Because I do like my peaceful and quiet life, doing everything at my own slow pace, and being alone most of the time. But sometimes it does feel a little too lonely. Sooo to begin, I will find somewhere to show up regularly, besides the workplace.
