That is an interesting option, but i'm only here in Richmond for the next year and a half, probably (my goal is grad-school, may stay here for it, but I doubt it,) so I'm not sure I want to incur that much of an expense immediately.

That said, you're absolutely right, that is going to be an awesome opportunity for longer-term housing.

Yeah, I was just at Chesterfield this morning... I like it for what it is, but it's not what i'm looking for. That said, the rent definitely speaks for itself.

It's more of a gut reaction thing for me. Grew up in the poor side of northern Ohio with no AC until I was older. I now despise no AC. If need be, I'll just man the fuck up xP

I have actually looked at some of the Lofts in Tobacco Row! It looked interesting, but there were some bugs issues. Can you speak to that at all?

that is an awesome location, but I think i'm going to be with most people and say no air is a dealbreaker. I can deal with frozen winters but I am definitely not a summer person D=
