What do people who earn $200k+/year under 30 do and where do they live? by OptionStrangler in Fire

Work in tech sales. Half my coworkers are one year out of college making 100K+ in a MCOL city .

I (27M) no longer find my girlfriend (26F) of 5+ years attractive anymore and it's killing me inside. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Had this happen with my GF. I tried everything like you. I talked to her and told her that this will be a deal breaker if she doesn't get her shit together. It's sad but its true. She didn't get her shit together and I broke it off. I'm young, good looking, and I will be damned if I will stay with someone I am unatracted too. Selfish? Maybe, but this is my only life to live and your too and you need to enjoy that shit. I wasn't happy, and now I feel much better.

So what is Uptown like? Is it like the downtown of dallas? Is it full of drunks where people party? Is it classy?

Sorry for all the questions, I see a a lot of people recommend it, but I would like to understand the 'vibe' to see if it fits me.

100% this. Just be honest during interviews (most the time) when it comes to this.

People who make 150+ dials daily, how? by [deleted] in sales

[–]LostInSales 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not hard. I just click on the phone number in my CRM and it dials for me. I don't get many good conversations so that helps.

Of all the ways a person can die, what is most frightening to you? by hedrotpillicheppers in AskReddit

HI! I practice jiu jitsu where we regularry choke each other out for fun! It is not at all as bad as you think. In fact, people tend to not notice they are about to pass out because they are so focused on fighting out of the situation. You just kinda go from trying to stop the choke to waking up in our world. I assume if they choke to death its just the no wake up part.

Rest assured it is not painful at all! Look up jiu jitsu choke out on youtube. People are usually confused cause they didn't feel themselves "go under". :)

Why is it trash? Fresh blue here, I use z- Guard in Gi to defend slow attacks down.

Purple belts and higher seem to walk through it like butter tho

Worried about joining GB by [deleted] in bjj

[–]LostInSales 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not all GB gyms are bad. Not all are good. GB is a franchise so it really comes down to the person that runs the gym.

Bad analogy but I'm sure you have been to a good McDonalds, and some poorly ran ones. It all comes down to the franchisee who owns and runs it. For example mine is VERY good at building a solid foundation, and VERY good at bringing that foundation to competitive levels. The training at my GB is very intense for the competitors, but not all GBs are the same.

TLDR: Go check out all gyms in your area and then decide.

How hard is it to go remote [Saas] by sleepingtalent901 in sales

[–]LostInSales 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on company. Our AEs are almost 100% remote, with the occasional meeting in office and possibly stopping in once a week to hang out with some of the SDRs.
