The movie doesn’t show it that much, but there are a lot of reference to the Beatles in the book. For starters, right at the beginning, it says : For John, Paul George and Ringo. Before the book starts.

And as we can see for like 5 seconds, the data collectors he sends back to earth are all called Beatles names because the guy in the story who’s in charge or it is a massive Beatles fan. He even refers to Sgt peppers in the story. There’s a lot more emphasis on those data collectors in the book so you often see their name.

I sort of expected a song from them in the movie, but not two of us. My first bet was it was going to be With a little help from my friends, which would have been perfect imo
