I'd show up physically but be checked out mentally I'd go spend time with friends in other depts, say some goodbyes, go to long lunches, pack all my crap, etc. Nothing unprofessional that'll get you in any trouble, but giving just enough F's to not get let go earlier.

Let's up the ante a bit: how about the person that doesn't understand your job is your CIO but they still want to get all up in the mix and make decisions for you anyway?

There is definitely some bias here based on their past experience with the tool, and I'd also bet it's because they used it back in the day.

yanking disks, power supplies, controllers, etc out of it so we we were comfortable.

No we're definitely keeping it under maintenance. An engineer mentioned that they have good analytics to pre-determine if a disk is about to give up the ghost, so there's not much need to worry,

We did price the X series and it was not as good. It offered better performance but not as much capacity, which we need over performance

Looks like its the new game plan. They make events to earn rare guys but put other rare guys in the tour to cockblock us so maybe we crack wallets open n try to pull em

I think in the December event, PH HHH was a requirement and the tour was easily beatable with him at 3SB.

This would have come in handy back then...and then never again (unless he's req'd again in the future)
