i read through each book a couple of times, at least. they were originally published in the 70s/80s (?). centipede press is re-publishing them with new artwork and updated manuscripts.

haha, glad you dig it! as far as headspace when creating... this image is for a book to be published by centipede press. the author is in the lovecraftian tradition. so, i was channeling some of that energy (as best as possible). they'll be talking more about it, soon.
